As for the LED group buy.  I will be putting up the pricing at http://www.creativedisplays.com/SiteResources/Data/Templates/templateb.asp?docid=552&DocName=Announcements within about 10 days.  I'm still waiting for the mini pricing.  The retro fit lamps are already up.  Won't be taking any orders yet, so hold on.  The rules for the order program will all be laid out when the prices come in.  Hope everyone weathered the winds!

:shock: I just started a spread sheet for my 2008 light display, and I'm already up to 13 cases of LED lights!!!  And that doesn't even include a mega tree!:tree:  Guess that will have to wait for next year's group buy!

I'd really like to see the 100ct LED's too, of the cases mentioned above, only about 4 of them are the 50 count.

I'm also going to need enough icicle lights to do about 200 feet of a house outline...

Ok - I've heard your requests.  C-6 & M-5, 50 light strings, 70 light strings, 100 light strings and Icicles in blue and warm white (C-6 stlyes - no snow flakes) will be offered!!! Also, NO WHINING :cryingdevil:  :cryingsong:  As a side note, we can also make up C-7 and C-9 light strings with the mini style base that are totally dimable just like the C6 and M5 styles if there is enough interest.

Paul,

I would be very interested in C9's that are dimmable.

M5 = 5 millimeter - M6 = 6 millimeter (really not noticable).

So $1k worth of LED lights is going to cost $100-$150 to ship?  That seems a bit high, especially if they are shipped pretty much in bulk packaging...  I was thinking about 11 cases, which I guess is a little over 13k lights.

I guess we'll see.  If the discounts are good enough, that can offset some of the shipping costs.  But I would think you could ship something that weighed over 200lbs for that kind of money.

I'm not trying to be negative, I just want to get a good idea how much shipping should cost.  I can see if you're only ordering a couple cases how 10% wouldn't be that much.

That is just a good number to use for budgeting.  Actually, the more product you purchase, the lower the PERCENTAGE goes down.  If someone were to buy one case of lights for, lets say $70 and it cost $12  to ship it - well you can see what I'm talking about . . . Already starting the whining :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:

Anybody interested in the short concave style bulbs? I think they were referenced as 'wide-angled'.
