Just got in a sample of Solarbrite outdoor LED's made by Holiday Creations.
The box includes two strings of 100 count white LED's, Solar panel, and a wall wort power supply rated at 6 volts 500ma.
The solar panel has two AA batteries installed, must be rechargables.
It is rated to run the 200 LED's for 6 hours on after being charged for 18 hours.
The LED's look like they are in parallel but not sure yet.
Put your hand in front of the solar panel and the LED's come on, move your hand away and the LED's go off.
I disconnected one String of LED's for the Solar panel and connected them to a power supply using my LED Saver Circuit, The saver circuit limits the maximum current to 20 ma no matter what the input voltage up to 36 volts or 60 volts, more on this later. I was surprised that all the LED's came on when I reached 6 volts @ 20 ma.
These LED's are not the super bright ones but give off a respectable level.
