Hey all, I worked a deal with an Ebay vendor for these LED flood lights. List price on these are $179 plus shipping. He is willing to work with any one here at PC and sell these to us for $129.99 this will include shipping. He wants to keep this outside of Ebay, and prefers to work this through Pay Pal. He can also provide a bit longer warranty at a 5yr for replacement. The vendor is Absolute Pro Audio, his external website is not yet fully up and running (http://www.absoluteproaudio). So if you want to get in on this, contact him directly, Ray is his name, and his 2 phone numbers are 305-648-3958 & 954-274-9957.
I managed to get a few last week via Ebay auction at $110 with shipping, but auctions are what they are, a lot of monitoring, especially at the last minute, and you have the chance of being nudged out of the product in the very end .
He does carry a lot of items, lighting, audio etc... Once you got him on the phone, see what else you can get, he wants to work with us on whatever he can.
By publishing this information, you have allowed other dealers/distributors to file a complaint to Chauvet about this company. Chauvet as a MAP (Minimum Advertised Pricing) policy and they enforce this. This might not have been a good move for this company. I bet you will be hearing from the company asking you to remove your post. If they continue to allow their pricing below MAP to be published (even if not from them), they can lose their distributorship.

I explained to them what I was doing, before I did it, and then after a couple conversations, shared the link via email. There was no concern voiced. If I get approached, then it is easy enough to get this post deleted.

It's unfortunate that many industries encourage 100% markups on most dealer/distributor costs when setting retail pricing, and then require retailers to sell items at that level, or risk losing the product line.
Maybe if that philosophy was looked at a little more closely, and some price reductions were allowed there would less reason for people to purchase from large chains that buy their products overseas to sell cheaply, undercutting our companies.
If this type of price setting were to occur in other industries, ie healthcare, folks there would face charges.
