Help naming my display in 2008 - Lights, Lights, Lights! Read Only. No more posting. - PlanetChristmas! Forums. Read Only. We've moved to http://talk.planetchristmas.com - The Forums of PlanetChristmas have moved to http://talk.PlanetChristmas.com
I know a lot of folks have a name for their displays. For 2008, I would like to establish an official, annual name for my display. Marty Slack uses Christmas Utah each year which I think is a great name. Another local guy here uses West Haven Lights since he lives in West Haven. I live in a small township inside Ogden, Ut. called Uintah. I've been thinking of things like Christmas U, or U Town Christmas. I'm not real creative in this department so I thought I would ask for help. I would like to incorporate Uintah somehow if possible. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
Thanks much.
Corey

No Aunt Bethany, those are the Christmas lights.
Well since it's a township "U Town Christmas" would be good.
I like it better than Uintah Christmas mainly because I don't know how to pronounce it.

for my 08 display im naming it Levittown Lights. Because im in bristol township witch is in Levittown. Try using your last name or something? Thats what Rich H did and also Lindsay Lights did. and im sure alot more.
Hmm. Never Mind, that is what I am going to name mine down here next year.
Seriously though, since I am moving my display to my friend's house, I need to come up with a new name.
Since the Seagull is the state Bird I was thinking of naming it "A Flock of Seagulls Christmas" and then have my hair style as the lead singer of Flock of Seagulls as I hand out Candy Canes.

Seems to me , if you could just put your hair on backwards, it would look like that.

Assuming from the username Howell is the last name?
Howellin' Christmas
Christmas with the Howells
Howell's Holidays
and for ones more geographic in nature:
Unitah Unity?
Unitah Yuletide?
Just remember if you move, geographic names may not work anymore.
Having personal names in the title gives some insight into who does the display. It also hints at that the display is primarily the work of one person. Mine has unofficially been called "Christmas At Dave's" for about 20 years.

My last name is HUFFMAN.. Just try to do something with that. And you cant use the word PUFF. I grew up with that one And GOD forbid you use that word with the (M) first.. Minus the (P) - (H) of course...... Robert
