Hi all,

I'd like to build a "Tune To" sign that's basically a three or four-inch deep box with a silkscreened glass front that I can shine light through (probably rope light inside).  I've seen several like this mentioned on PC.  I also plan to mount two oval speakers and a small power amp on the inside bottom to play music for folks that walk by. Finally, since it'll be mounted in the front of my yard, I'll probably mount two of four security cameras on the back of the sign to cover the yard.

For now though, my question concerns the graphics layout and silkscreening for the glass front.  I'm still working on the elements I want on the glass (show name, radio frequency, web address, hours, etc.) but don't know who does the actual silkscreening (I've called several local sign companies that didn't have any suggestions.)

I'd appreciate your input on anything mentioned above. (i.e., should I put show hours on the sign - it might lock me into something I can't easily change later).

Thanks...

J.D.

J.D. Check out http://www.rainbowvinylgraphics.com/.  He has done signs for a number of PC folks.

I used Kinkos-Fedex printing services and printed it on backlight film. Took 24 hours. Show us your sign when you are done!

Several people here have used this site http://www.victorystore.com to design and have them print their sign. I have tried to find post about it but cant seem to find it right now.

I had my sign cut out of black vinyl and put it on plexiglass then painted the back side of the plexiglass white and red, put it in a 2x4 box with lights inside. My sign is double sided. Here is a pic. I need to learn how to take better pictures.

btw I personally would not put show run times on the sign. You never know what might come up to make your show times change. JMHO

The colors look great in person!
