The majority of us here use the strobes from http://www.christmaslightshow.com

I have tried every size and style over the last few months, and I wont use any other kind.

Are you serious, I spoke with Darryl quite a bit back when I was experimenting with multiple vendors and brands, he told me that the best is 6 each at 50 or more. Never mentioned a sale. Any idea what time of year it was. I need another 2 to 3 hundred. They arent exactly cheap, and id love to save anywhere so I can buy more.

In response to the topic of the thread, I have not used the ones from Wowlights myself, but I have seen them in action. Their display is about 45 min from me. They had theirs outside and up in a large tree. Had a good wow factor. But like I said, I have not used them myself. I have bought 50 from Darryl ....BDay present from my wife:waycool:.  Looking forward to putting them to use this season.

Thanks for asking! I do not have a date. I got a bunch coming in a month or so and will set a date when they arrive. Click Here to add your email and get notified when they come in.

Speaking of wow lights. Has Darryl ever considered some really wow strobe lights?  I've seen some places with strobes ranging up to 700 watts... blindingly bright.

What are the Wattage option curtain strobes but also I could see a need for a handful of megabright strobes.

Its been my wish list since I saw Chuck Smith's Yr 2000 video of his display. I think he had like 10 of these arranged 3 ft apart just under his gutters aimed at the street and I think he used some rediculously bright wattage on them, like 5 to 10 times brighter then curtain strobes and some of these can be linked by wires to have perfectly synchronized flashes at same time.

The best reading I have on Daryl's is that they draw about 0.1A each.  So around 80 of them would be 8A....

The strobes I sell pull 6 watts (.05 amps). I have had 100 on one channel. 100 would probably pull about 5 amps, but it would be less then that because they are all going off randomly.

I ran 100 on one channel last season no problem.

I just put a hundred on a single channel and fired em up with a DMM inline set to measure current. Jumped all over from 1 to 3 ams. Firing randomly keeps it down. I am curious now so will bring home the desktop DMM that can output to excel and take 1000 current measurements a second. Then I will post the data back here.
