Newbie here - the forums on this web site are incredible!

Anyhow, I have a fairly large collection of vintage C9 bulbs (mainly GE but some Westinghouse). One type of bulb that I have taken a liking to is smooth GE bulbs that are marked "D14" on the bulb.

Does any one know about these bulbs? What year they were manufactured? Do others here like them?

Any insight will be appreciated - Thanks!
