If the wife will let me get away, I'll be there. We are going to be there from June 10th through the 17th. Probably would be best to go for Sunday the 11th.

Well, the other half of the duo got a little scared when he read the fine print of the little contract that they sent us. Basically it was all reg tv talk for if we come to your home and you tell what we did BEFORE it airs we sue you for lots of money. They were looking for competition between neighbors, friends, etc. They were not looking for individuals. I thanked kristina for contacting me, and send her several pics of my display and let her know if they every want to do a show on individual displays or something like that to let me know and I would be very HAPPY to help her out. Basically just fine print that scared a few away. No problem either way, who knows but I def don't want to end up like carson and have to shut my display down so maybe it is for the best.

Well, they actually called us the day before chuck posted this and it seemed like we were a great fit. We had neighbors that moved last year and we have always had a competition between us.
Last year we colaborated on a joint LOR controled display but still had a bit of competition.
This year, they are in California and the competition is in full swing. We have a lot planned and thought they would really go for it.
We sent in pictures, 30 minutes of casting video (at their request) and the neighbors in California did the same. They told us if we hadn't heard by Friday, then they weren't going to do it.
Well, it's now Saturday night.
Bummer- either we really stink or they just didn't get the response they needed.
