Well, I guess it is time to introduce myself like everyone else. My name is Neil and I am in the great state of Mississippi and this is my first year doing a display. Well last year I had a sting of multi icicles over the garage door and a wreath.
My very first display will have a 16 channel LOR controller, 3 mini trees, 2 lighted wreathes and too many mini strings. I have about a dozen songs sequenced and almost ready to go. I live in the middle of a cul de sac and all my neighbors are as excited as I am...hopefully the traffic will not get to bad.
On a side note, one song I am doing is the Soldier's Silent Night. My neighbor is in the 113th MP Company of the US Army and is going to Iraq. The sequence has my yellow mini tree lit and other lights gently fade in and out. I had my doubts about doing this song but his wife is cool with it and the rest of my awesome neighbors tell me to finish it and use it.
BTW, the screen name is an old one of mine that came from a song lyric.
