Hi,

I am pretty slow to introducing myself. My name is Bill and for the past several years I have been wanting to pick up a hobby. When I thought about hobbies I kept thinking about how as a child there was something special about holding christmas light strings, plugging them in and watching them glow.... and seeing outdoor Christmas lights glisten off of the snow covered evergreen trees. I remember there was just something about putting lights up outdoors and turning them on for the first time for the season and how they brought such a deep joy to me... I remember wanting to make sure each light was burning brightly........

But I did not know how to make this a hobby.... and approximately a year ago I was browsing through the internet one day and I came across a computerized light show on youtube...and it almost brought me to tears!!!! Okay maybe one or two tears that is!!!!

Approximately six months ago someone somewhere (boy I have a poor memory) told me about this website. At first I thought the person must be pulling my leg. As a result I visited PC and found out there were a lot of people like me and maybe even more dedicated. LOL!! I started visiting PC off and on and the more I read the more I learned. As I read though I must say I felt ignorant and insecure because I did not know anything about changing my static display to a computerized lighting system. As a result I felt frustrated to the point that one day in January I became a member and started asking questions hoping people would not laugh at my questions. I remember thinking after I posted the questions if these people think I am stupid then I don't have to go back to this website. The next couple of days  to my surprise when I returned to this website several people had left me kind and helpful suggestions. In fact in the past several weeks several have gone out of their way to help me. What a blessing! Because of them and their help I bought 90 channels of LOR at the recent sale. What a savings (and I must be a NUT)! I am really gearing up for CHRISTmas 2008!!!! I figure if I start sequencing now I will be ready to test in August. LOL....but not far from reality.... Well anyways I thank God for this website and the people that I have met and I look forward to meeting many more of you! Sincerely,  Bill

Yo've got a good start. You also have a ton of work. Keep going. You August finish / test time is actually accurate. Try not to burn out, it can happen..... Agood way to accomplish all the sequencing is start now and do a little every day.

good luck,
