Yeah, its red too. After we had it all made, we thought "We should've done the first one a different color now everyone will think all we'll have it red!"

We are contemplating one more strand of lights up and down and around - what do you think???

I love it !!! An option that I did instead of more lights was using a pine garland around the cage along with the lights. I got my pine garland at walmart and it was fairly cheap. It has been on the trees for 2 years now and still looks great even unlit during daylight hours. Last year I added to my mini tree collection, I'm now up to 12 and still hoping to add a few more. :happytree:

it looks pretty good. Like Jeff I made mine a few years ago with the garland also. Picked it up at the Dollar tree though. (Due to storage I gave them to a neighbor ) Mine were the small ones and looked so adorable lining the driveway.

Randi, it looks great. Another strand couldn't hurt, but it isn't necessary. What other colors will you be doing?

We are doing a green tree and a blue tree. I have the red "JOY" letters. We sorted out the C9's tonight in the garage and just got back from an amazing show of MR. CHRISTMAS in the garage with the lights out!

tomorrow is the BIG setup day. We probably won't get all done - but a good chunk.

CAN'T WAIT!

That looks great.

I saw the PC write-up on using 2' art easels. But after finding out that easels go for $12, I  considered using tomato cages.

After seeing yours, I think I've decided that's the right way to go!

Good job.

Another strand?  Wow-- I saw the pic and didn't read at first, and my first thought was "that's pretty full"!

$12.00 seems high to me.  I bought mine for $.95 each at the flower factory.  They are only located in Ohio and Indiana I think but you can join for free and order online.  Go to http://www.flowerfactory.com and sign up for a membership.  They also have lots of Christmas items like trees, and wreaths too.
