Have you been eating ballyhoo or something? :P

I've been busy this week (I even had to go in to work yesterday :() so I haven't done much on them.

Actually, I got the 4th barrel for the other head on Thursday. I'll be cutting/painting it today and I wanted to get some better pics of the head construction.

I'm off to Lowes now to pick up some parts for the mouth mechanism.

I got the barrel cleaned up a little but that's all I managed to do before the rain and thunderstorms started.

On a positive note, a friend of mine stopped by the drop off an LOR DC board and ELL set that he didn't want.

:waycool:

I plan on using the DC board with the LED MR-16's I got from Kevin's group buy. They should be arriving tomorrow or Tuesday. :)

I am a newbie here, but I have been following the project. Chuck, your project is awesome! You guys are way over my head.

I was thinking about the beard and hair absorbing water. What about soaking them in Thompsons Water Seal? Just a thought.

Sorry - no.

It's been so hot down here that I haven't been motivated to work outside. I've been catching up on some "honey do's" that I can do indoors. (Plumbing, cleaning, organizing, etc.)

We just started a new project at work so that is going to eat a lot of my normally idle time and my sister is visiting with her family in a few days.

I'll still putz around with them but don't expect any posts until June or so when I can go back to my 10 hour work week. ;)

It's good to be the king. :)

Edit: Of course, the 120 hour weeks kind of even it out.
