I sent Simon Cowell of American Idol, Brititans Got Talent and Americas Got Talent fame the video of Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus performing the "Evolution of Dance" back in December.
It turns out that the talent search is in Dallas on March 2nd and the producers of the show thought the video good enough to send us an email yesterday.
We can only use a sound track on the first audition but if we make it to the second audition, we can use some of our lighting as props.
We are prepared to lead the charge for Extreme Christmas Light decorating in front of Simon himself.
Charles and Vickie Belcher

Is the door to the stage the front door to your house? Tom,
No sir, the door is a prop on an 8'x8'x4' high stage in our front yard. The stage actually backs up to the center of two 35' cedar trees. I trimmed the trees to make a rear entrance to the stage which is totally hidden from the people who stand on the street to watch the show.
We have a "backstage" area complete with stair lights, a carpeted path over the rock bed, a table with refreshments, etc....you know, a regular rock and roll kind of thing.

Thank you all, but we will be a novelty gag act for Simon and no way nor reason to pass us on to the next level. It will be a "Bucket List" kind of thing for us, only without the nearing death part.
If the moon and sun align and we do make it to the next level, we get to bring our props with us----then LOOK OUT, because we will Rock the Joint!!!

I was thinking the same thing! You're going to need some rocking dance moves to get to the next level, but I hope you make it. It would be awesome to see it with the props.
We don't have any rocking dance moves. It is just all about fun and making people smile. I am sure Simon will roll his eyes at us the minute we walk on stage.

Well, tommorrow is the big day! We got a call from an advance person in the LA office of Americas Got Talent making sure that we are still going to show up for the audition.
Two people in Santa Claus suits in downtown Dallas in March. I can hear the questions now.
No cameras or vtrs are allowed, so I will not be able to document the event.
