And, yes, I like this new topper from Darryl. It's MUCH nicer for high-density channels than the old bun-foot with the hooks on it.
Plus, it won't split if it gets wet and it's actually LIGHTER (I think).
You could buy some PVC nipples/reducers and accomplish the same thing as I did here but I was trying to show how you can use your existing fittings with the new topper.
Edit: It just occurred to me that I should probably charge Darryl for this.

This thread was just meant to illustrate how to use your existing stars if you happened to already have one. I'm sure he'll have a new system for any new orders.
