You really like to brag alot don't you? Most of us just have the newpaper show up at our door. I'm 15 and when i was 12 the newspaper just showed up and knocked on my door. Most of us don't go and ask the newapaper to come to house. Besides why would you want to be on the COVER page in June? Heres a newsflash for you buddy Christmas is in December!!! Is that why you do a display, to get money to keep for yourself and to be in the newspaper? Im sure that most people will forget about it by the time christmas rolls around. Even though 15 doesn't make you that special, I'm 15 and i know that there are a few other people that belong to pc are teens....

let this be known to all , i do my display to glorify Jesus Christ the reason for my display, if you do not believe me watch outta control christmas this year in the travel channel , i talked about half the time about jesus, i love to see smiles on peoples faces as they drive thru, that is the reason i do my display, you can ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you that exact thing. i love jesus, the reason we celebrate CHRIST-mas and he is the reason for my display .

Tell ya what, if you are going to post it here (and this is not for you, but for everyone) better be prepared to stand behind what you type. If you don't mean it, don't post it in the first place. It's just that simple. Everyone, all threads, all forums, needs to slow down and start thinking before they type.

Just because you edit the post, doesn't mean it's gone for good. You never know what kind of archiving is going on, nor do you know *who* is archiving messages.

I do a Christmas, Easter, Halloween, 4th of July, Valentines, and I may even do a St. Patricks Display this year...  Someone call the paper as I am not adding lights but probably around another 100 blowmolds and much much more and all out of my back pocket.   I am not bragging either but just remember wwChristmasguy that there are many on here that also do big displays if not bigger than yours.  I am not saying mine is that big either.  There was a little hint of bragging in your posts or it may just be excitement.. but just ask the robot guy what coming onto PC and bragging will get ya and the travel channels does not do an out of control Christmas show.

Very well said Don. I only believe in editing posts to fix spelling and grammer and I also tend to post then re read it. As lond as there hasnt been any replys to it I may edit bits out that sound a little crude or what not, but after that, I leave it.

We should all take the penalties for our actions, and simply reply again stating that you didnt mean it etc. or adding a blip to the original post with a:

Edit:

Line to show it was not original and I always leave the existing post.

I take the heat for all my posts.

Zac

Edit:

Brad, I am going to have to agree... Its not that no one can brag, bragging is fine, but when you have no evidence it is much like an "empty threat" accept a brag. Just no one brag when you don't have evidence. You should have waited to post this until you got pics of your after Christmas sale items that you said you got.

OK, I'm going the positive route on this one.

wwchristmasguy, thanks for going lower case. It does help reading your post :]. I would really like to see all those lights lit up. That is a bunch for sure. Some folks do Christmas in June, July, whatever. Either way, it's a light display and I would like to see the finished product. Also, I want to see the results of 4th of July (and I mean pics or video or something).

We don't care how much money you got or where it went. We were just curious of what was the cause FOR the donations. Church, baseball or school functions? Or just a "hey I am planning to do a light show and ask for a small donation to get it done."?

wwcg. Being young is good. Living life is better.  And learning from others (and we are all friends here by the way) is priceless. We all learn from each other!!! (please don't forget that) That's what's so good about this forum. Good luck on your project and I wish you the very best of luck. Keep us informed.

Tom

Also well said Tom,

I am also young, only 15 in fact...:] But the reason EVERYBODY is on PC is because you are here to ask questions or to answer them. If anyone is here for none of those reasons, then they are here to brag. So don't be afriad to ask questions and give answers, thats why we all or should be here for.

Zac

Bobby, I love the way you (and Don too) say it how it is.

This thread has gone from making me agitated to making me laugh my butt off. Ditto to what Tim just said above... and that's all I have to say about that.

Wow, so much for the off-season posting slump. Tonights been... interesting...

Wow, I thought I was posting in Planet Christmas, not Giving an interview to the tabloids, everything thing I post gets twisted, examined, trashed, I am not bragginng,i posted this about my expansion plans for 06 in the show and tell forum, for a reason, I saw others posting their 06 plans, and decided to post mine, and I can not believe that some people did not believe my expansion plans, I have everything I said, except the 60' tree ( that would be hard to store) I am purchasing the pole in July, and I have 17 new wireframes so far, the others, I am ordering from christmas done bright, once I get the new themes for 2 sections complete, and about the donations, I never was going to get a donation bow, but when people come to your door and hand you cash ,it is kinda of weird , so I decided to put a donation bow in the drive, and I clearly posted on the sign the following " ALL DONATIONS GLADLY EXCEPTED , AND WILL BE USED TO ENLARGE WINTER WONDERLAND, THANK YOU AND HAVE A BLESSED CHRISTMAS " the only reason I posted the amounts, was because, brad said since I was 15 he knows I did no buy everything, and that is the only reason , I was explaining how I was able to purchase all the new stuff, now I was not bragging for the last time, and that is all i have to say about this topic, i am sorry if i offended anyone, please forgive me ,

Ok, Dexter...

I feel really bad...

This was blown way out of praportions, but dont take offense, there have been some really weird things on PC tonight.

I thnk the reason people didnt believe you is because you didnt post any proof. I don't think it was that they didnt believe you but doubted you.

Your expansion plans were different then others posted in here because you didnt post your actual plans. Don't worry I have done dumb things like this to, such as the Slip Ring Project.

I get the whole donation thing now.. I wish people handed me money LOL...

I guess you posted this in excitement.

I hope you will stick around and we are sorry for this big mess.

It is hard to convey peoples feelings and implements through typed words, I think that is how alot of problems beguin.

Zac

P.S. Still wanna see those pics :}
