Are you using V1.6 ? If so are you using the Wave form viewer? It really helped speed up my sequencing..

Blair,

To tell if you are using version 1.6.1 of the sequence editor, simply look at the top of the program while you have it running. It should say, "Light-O-Rama Sequence Editor 1.6.1"

If it does, open a musical sequence. Then click "View -> Waveform" and a graphical wave of the music should appear at the top of the sequence.

Blair  did yu purchace your copy form LOR or is it the demo version?
If you did buy it you should be able to upgrade to 1.6 at no cost from the LOR website. The waveform viewer is a very nice addition to the software and has saved me a lot of time sequencing. The sequences that I made last year were off quite a bit and the waveform helped be get them in shape for this year.

Toymaker - I have not upgraded to the wave version yet - how does it help you program quicker?

Just thought I would get your opinion.

Thanks, Bill

Picture a wave form which is a line that goes up and down with the music.  The top of the wave is the "beat".  That's where you want to turn something on.  The wave gives you the exact location rather than you having to estimate using the tapper.

According to Don's post you need 1.6.1 (not 1.6.0).
