You could try to get some used ones from a florist.

(I'm assuming they have florists in the UK but they probably call them something silly like "pharmacists". :P)

Isn't Ireland part of the UK?

I thought there was England, then Great Britain which is England, Wales and Scotland and then the UK which is Great Britain and Ireland.

But I know what you mean - those Brits have a funny word for everything. ;)

(Lift, pullover, etc.) :P

How long have the Brits been speaking English? :P Lots of centuries!

And how long have the yanks been speaking "Americian" ????? :D A few centuries

Ever since they arrived from the UK and started "taking shortcuts" or going the other extreme and using "elevator" instead of "lift" and "lumber" instead of "wood".

But the one that cracks me up is when talking about "timber" is 2x4 which we call 4x2 - just sounds so "wrong"  Just like today is 15th Feb 2008 - small - bigger - biggest which is 15/2/2008 - not 2/12/2008 which is middle - small - big . .  just like I live at 24 Kamahi Ave Hawera - which is small - bigger - bigger again - not Kamahi Ave 24 Hawera ;)

At least the Poms and us Kiwi's know how to spell words like "colour", "labour", "aeroplane", etc. And which side of the road to drive on!:]

Hope I haven't started anything but have always wanted to point out the differences between us, but I wish those Brits changes all the way to the dollar!:waycool:

Getting to the point though, yes I would really like to knoow where we could obtain these in the UK. I have been into many florists and have never seen anything like them but, also I know these are also known (in America) as tomato cages, so will have to phone a few garden centres up.

Pete.

Ps: Mick I went into B&Q they are not doing the same deal on the plugs in the UK.   What a bummer. Speak to you soon via PM but will be getting Skype very soon.

You should call around to the care takers at local cemeteries and funeral homes.

They must get them all the time.

I bet if you brought the care taker a bottle of spirits he would save them for you.

P.S You forgot to capitalize the abbreviation USA. Don't let it happen again ;)
