Thought I would share the plans I devised for building a wooden manger that is based on the plastic one Empire's Nativity Scenes included about ten years ago.

Falling ice took damaged the plastic manger.  A hastily thrown wooden replacement manger failed to survive the elements for more than a few years.

So midway through the 2006/2007 Christmas season, I replaced the manger with a cedar one.

The plans can be found here

The plans were recreated from memory and using measurements of the finished product.  I'd appreciate any feedback on if the directions are clear enough.

I need to build a slanted Manger as mu Nativity is on the porch roof
That would be better for my display
I don't want to cut the wooden one I have
I guess building another one is a good idea
