I was just wondering if anybody had any ideas of how to build the nutcrackers like the ones you see at Disney World around Christmas! Any ideas are welcome. Thanks In Advance.
I thought it might've sounded confusing. But what I would like to do, is create what you see in the picture, a 3D nutcracker that looks just like those.

So why not copy what I did but paint it like those in the pics? You can stick a feather flume on top to complete the look.
It looks like the Disney nutcrackers have boxy bodies and round heads. Sounds like christmaslover wants something with a more human-like appearance. Are they Nutcrackers or Toy Soldiers?

It's "Merry Christmas" not "Happy Holidays"
Other than the square body there isn't much difference between those and what Chuck has built.
All the componets are pretty much the same.
Just off the top of my head if your after the square body look how about using a piece of air conditioning duct work, get one with the 45 degree bend to mimick the shoulders.
If you want the arms to piviot, cut the PVC at the elbows the same as shown in your picture and add a piviot pin/long bolt.
Add some wood boxes to mimick the boots maybe upsize the PVC/plastic pipe to 6" and there you have it. There really isn't much to it.
Chuck has already given you the hardest parts to copy.
