This weekend?  I got around to finishing something i started months ago.  It was the one thing my wife asked for a "Bethlehem Star"and then  I put my twist on it so it is now  a 4 color Bethlehem star. Once I finished the "bells" I got from Valerie I visioned a much better way to do the star.  12-6ft 1/4" rods from Lowes later. It is done...  I will get some Daytime pics of it in the next few days posted...( sorry th pic is too big for the forum so here is a link!) There are more pics of what I am up to on my blog site! Feel free to browse and comment.

Over the next few weeks, I'll be working on a whole bunch of wooden cutouts.  If you like to be a voyeur, you can watch me on the shop webcam at my website.  I've got around 9 full sheets of plywood, so I estimate that I'll be working on these until June or July.  Today I'm working on cutouts from 'The Grinch'.

No comments if you see my fat gut hanging out from under my t-shirts!!!

I've been looking at them on ebay, but can't bring myself to pay the shipping for something so heavy

Good deal Deb!  When I get a chance I plan on checking them out at Michaels Crafts. We don't get their coupons in our papers around here so when I was in Michaels a couple months ago I asked how I could get them. They said to just tell the cashier that and they will give you the discount without the coupon.  You'll just need to sign a paper and give your zip code. AND they will even accept JoAnn Fabrics coupons!!!!

Bill,

The star looks totally different done like that! Are you going to light the inside to or just have it like it is in the picture? It looks good!
