Hi everyone, it seams my first post about this went poof for some strange unknown reason, so I am posting it again.

Earlier this year (back in jan/feb) I saw a basic round wire frame that could be used to make your own wreath. It was around 2 to 3 feet (or maybe a bit more) in diameter. The last place I saw one was at Rona (a store like Home Depot). The cost was under $10. Well, I went looking for it this year because the wife now wants a bigger wreath for the front of the house, and Rona said they had no idea what I was talking about (that's what happens to a store with a high employee turnover rate) :?

Anyway, I even went to HD as well to see if they could help me, and no luck over there.

The question I have is.... does anyone know where I can find this wire frame (for the price I saw it for) in the greater Toronto area?

Btw, the frame looked like this... (sorry about the crude drawing) :P

Thanks in advance for any help you may give me. :)

I can tell exactly what this is from your high resolution photo!   Seriously though this is just a wreath form.  You can find these at places like Garden Ridge, Michael's or Hobby Lobby.  They will be with the little wire easels for holding a wreath.  (The ones that people use to make mini trees.)  I haven't seen them that big.  I saw one that was about 18 inches in diameter.  I bet you can also get these from florists or a wholesale florist supply place.

Hey, that magnificent pic took me about 30 seconds to draw and upload. (it's kinda hard to be a Picasso when the wife is over your shoulder, asking when you are going to get off the comp to do the dishes)

Btw, thanks for the flowershop insight. I never thought about looking there. I will also try Michael's, but as you said, I don't think they carry them in that size. I knew I should of bought it when I saw it at Rona for that price. (live and learn)  :?

If anyone else has seen them locally in the Toronto area, please let me know. :)

Btw, for those of you looking out for it, the wire form I saw was a one peice design and not multi. I have already seen the multi in my area, but I don't want to make a wreath that is 4->5+ feet. (too big for where I want to put it)

I know I already posted this but I suggest checking the yellow pages of your local phone book for wholesale Florist suppliers.  They typically have the easels and should have wreaths too.

I know you guys are only wanting the wreath ring but Sam's club sells a huge wreath when it gets close to Christmas.  (At least they have for the last few years.)  It's a complete lighted wreath but you could still modify it.  I believe the cost was a little over $50.

Costco sales the big fresh wreaths as well, in 2 different sizes.  I plan on buying one for my front door.  Then after Christmas, just store the wire fame for my 2008 project.
