Announcing Class No. 2- AL Online Training Class - VENDOR - Animated Lighting Odds and Ends Read Only. No more posting. - PlanetChristmas! Forums. Read Only. We've moved to http://talk.planetchristmas.com - The Forums of PlanetChristmas have moved to http://talk.PlanetChristmas.com
We have scheduled class No. 2 for this coming Friday. Paul will once again be sending out emails to everyone a day or two before the meeting. Once again the class is full and there is a waiting list. As a result, we have scheduled a second class for the next Sunday. There are still a few places available for this class.
We plan to record both classes again and will post them on the internet for easy reference. It has been suggested that we only have one class and anyone else interested can watch the video after it is posted. However, I really think that anyone who wants to attend the class and have the opportunity to ask questions, should be allowed to do so (also sometimes the second class will cover information that came up in the first class better). Therefore, I believe we will continue to offer two classes as long we have the number of people interested which would warrant it.
Finally, remember we have set up a file to use after Class No. 2 so that you can attempt to replicate the information that we learn in this class using the same file that was used in the class. You do not need to download this file before the class. In fact, the first thing that will be covered in the class will be how to download this file and who to set it up for use.
Paul and I look forward to our class. We have so much positive feedback from the first class. One person told us how he would rewatch the video and then pause it and attempt to do the same thing with his software. He felt like he was able to apply the information very quickly.
If you have any pointers to help others, please feel free to suggest them. This is as much an exchange of information as anything else.
Ken

I just found out htat I will be on a trip this friday and will not return until Monday Night. (Bummer) If you need to give my spot to someone else please do so. If the next class is a week from sunday then please put me in that spot.
Sorry for the quick change up. I will PM Paul also
Sorry I missed lesson number 2. My 10 month old son was at Riley with breathing complications. Everyone is home and fine now so I would like to throw my hat in for lesson #3 whenever it might occur. I apologize for not being able to attend or inform anyone that I would not be able to make it last week.
Thank you for the class last Friday night. I really enjoyed it and learned more in one hour than I had since I bought my first ELD16's in 2005. It is Christmas enthusiasts like you 2 that make Planet Christmas a great web site.
Thank you,
Mark Ritter

____________________ CHRISTMAS is Magic with trees and lights we all know,
I just watched the video and have started playing with AD to use the things I learned. During the class everytime you hit the "test" button, AD switched from the routine screen to the vcisualizer. I cnnot get AD to do that. What step am I missing?
In class No. 1 we covered the set up of Visualizer. You need to go to System, Settings, and change the Com port setting to Visualizer. Then whenever you press test, it will automatically switch over to the Visualizer screen.
Since getting it all figured out I am having fun making the eight mini trees do alot of stuff. My question I guess for anyone out there is... how do I get channels to chase starting from a high channel to a low channel? I can do it by programming each channel, but I am always looking for an easier way!! I thought maybe using the chase command and then clicking something else would work. I can't figure it out though.
