Marshall, I didn't even think about the impact you can make with charitable organizations. You can show the problem...and how to help out. That's great.
5' x 7' huh? That's pretty good size. How does the 2" PVC hold out in the wind? I can imagine these screens acting as a sail.
So far so good! The screen is about 10 feet from the house on the south side. Generally this time of year the winds are from the north....except for today and the rest of this weekend. Our charity this year is "The Dream Factory" they grant wishes to terminally or chronically ill children. They provided some video material. I incorporated it into the intermission presentation between musical sequences. I am surprised by how the videos really capture everyones attention.
1. Reorganized the site in general;
2. Updated the N'Sync Video with one of a better quality (reflecting that I now have a better knowledge of what I am doing):
3. Updated the U2 video with one of a better quality (same reason);
4. Added two videos contributed by Paul Madden called White Christmas (one is for a round screen and the other is for a square screen).
Is anyone creating more videos that have animation in them? I like the ripped DVD's...don't get me wrong, but the animations are really fun and entertaining. What is everyone using for animation videos? Thx!
P.S.- I am in the process of redesigning our website to address some issues. I think I fixed the problem with people not being able to get some of the links to work. Let me know if they still do not work. The new site should be up soon.
I have a few animations that I have created and that I have put togather from Christmas Cartoons synced to songs. I'll upload them as so as I can.
You can check out the Grinch synced to B. Setzler Sleigh Ride at the you tube site. just do a search for coloxmas in you tube. Those were my first years video. I have lots more now... and have gotten better at it as well.. LOL

Yes I did one for Bobby Helms Jingle Bell Rock which was mostly just a collage of video clips from Christmas cartoons... very popular with small children.

I have some original video files and some flash documents of christmas annimation that I have created and collected over the years in my library but have yet to put them to any music.
If Ken has the room maybe he could put a sub-directory that would be for hodge-podge clips? Or just contact me and i'll put together a list of what I have.

The 'Let It Snow' video is great! Paul Madden did it, BUT how? Are those a bunch of pre-made video clips that you just put together? If so, where did you get them? Thx!

I think he got them from animationfactory.com but I had a different version of Let it snow... the Frank Sinatra version and Paul's video fit very nicely into it except Franks was a 1 minute longer version and I had to repeat portions that werent repeated in Paul's song and drag out the timing on the static frames to keep the timing with mine good but it came out brilliantly well on Frank Sinatra's too....

I did the same thing. My Let it Snow is by Monique Danielle. I had to strech out some static frames and copy and past some to make it fit, but it was very useful. Thanks Paul M
