They usually will post a sale in the middle of Jan. and it may run as long as the end of March.

I don't want to rain on anyone parade but if they keep selling out of controllers why would they have a sale?

Customer relations, lets face it we have an expensive hobby and the way any business keeps customers is with sales and customer support. Where LOR is basically a residential controller setup,AL does alot of commercial work that requires alot of channels to operate. As long as AL users understand this especially during peak season they may be short on equipment for residential customers. So a sale is a great way to save some money and continue to build customer relations within the company and the AL community. Great chance to buy an extra controller or two in case something happens to one in your particular setup

I'd be more worried IF they couldnt sell their stuff.  Selling out is not a bad thing necessarily... means the company is doing well and will be around in the future.

Call Animated Lighting 816-941-0400 or send an E Mail to sales@animatedlighting.com and tell them what you want.  I bet they cut you a "deal"

There are many options you can talk with them over. With and without enclosures, with and without outlets the list goes on and the deal that can be cut can get better for you depending on your ability as a handiman and with electricity.   Animated Lighting tends to try to supply you with "ready to go" equipment as much as possible which is a good business practice.  It cant hurt to call or e-mail them.

If I recall properly (and I might not), the  1/2 off was part of the deal you got if you signed up for the classes they had last year AND orderd controllers at the same time.  Or ... was the 1/2 off for the class, not the controllers?

Anyways, I'm just glad there is a sale!  I could really use another 128 chanels worth  to make our 2008 display "just perfect."  ;)

Let's see 144 + 128 = 272 ??? Yep, that would work out just fine!

I know in the past when I bought multiple controllers at one time they would cut me deals on the price.

Yeah, I know.  Carl and I are still debating how many controllers we "need" vs. want.

With over 40k additional lights purchased after putting up the 2007display our limitations for 2008 will be power and channels.  I'll just have to figure out a way to convince Carl we need twice as many controllers as he was thinking of.
