I try to set the left margin to start the song midway throught the song so that i dont have to hear the whole beginning again, and it doesnt work.  The song doesnt start at the beginning, but it also doesnt start where i told it to.

Why?

I am right clicking on the time column i want to set.  Then i click 'Set Left'.  I have done this a thousand times on other routines, and it has worked.

The song starts about 9 seconds in instead of 17 seconds in.  Therefore, the lights dont turn on and off with the new margin.

I think this was answered on a different forum.  The problem turned out to be a corrupted song file.

This used to drive me nuts also... Ended up being a VBR v/s CBR .mp3.

For some reason, AD can't sometimes lock the time on the song to what the grid has and it just starts the song from the beginning v/s where you set the margin marker.
