Disney used over Qty. 30 of AL's BLD-16 SSR controllers to control the lighting on Cinderella's Castle - Disney World for their 2007 "Castle Dream Lights" holiday lighting display.  Both Disney World and Disney MGM (Spectacle of Dancing Lights) employ Animated Lighting controllers in their displays (over Qty. 100 BLD-16 SSR controllers between the two displays).

Here is the link to read an article written by one of Disney's light designers regarding the Cinderella Castle lighting display.

first you need to build a castle, then go out and buy about a quater million lights, the rest should be easy :laughing:

actually,  looks like you could do well with white lights along the front face of the house, blue lights covering the roof, and some purple floods to wash the house from the bottom, and the magic feel should be finished off with a couple dozen strobes

if you pull it off, the finished product should be amazing

I am going to have to play around with the lighting software I have tonight...see what I can brew up.

Did they also use AL controllers at other parks?   I noticed that Disneyland Paris Sleeping Beauty Castle was done similar to the one at Walt Disney World.

Disney uses AL controllers at Disney World and also at a display in Disneyland.  Universal Studios-Florida, Silver Dollar City, Marriott Great America and dozens of Light Designers use our DMX controllers.
