Thank You Richard, I used LOR last year for the first time, now i'm trying to learn LOR II. My son is helping with the music, teaching me about the beat wizard..
Thank You Richard, I love your display . I have one question the voice over is that you or did you get it done, sounds very professional....Thank you ...Jared
P.S. a little bit off topic but it is Sunday go Green Bay Packers . I'm a Packers fan if you couldn't tell.

He does professional voice over work and I have had him work on a few projects last year for work. His rates are $325 for up to 5 minutes and $30 a minute after that.
He did those voice overs for me free though since I was already having him do some other work and since I was raising money for Make-A-Wish.
Speaking of voice-overs - could you have him NOT say "Holdman" in next year's version? I can't use your voice-over sequence in my display if he does!
BTW - I, too, would like to thank you for posting these. While seeing a video of someone's lights gives you good ideas, seeing the programming behind it really helps a lot more.
Thank you so much. Everything I've learned about sequencing has been from studying your sequences. I really, REALLY appreciate you sharing what you've learned and done these past two years.
Thanks for posting the sequences. It has really helped me learn the light o rama software by being able to watch your display and than look at the LOR programming
How many lights are in each channel of your arches?

9 Channels per Arch, 200 Lights in each channel. Using 100ct Walmart strands that are about 24' each.

I was really liking the Krypton sequence, but noticed there are no videos of this on your site, any chance you have one and just forgot to post it
ps. what is the "work" track for
I did not get a chance to video that one.
The work track is a temporary holding track. Many times I will put multiple fades up there with different timings as a place to just keep them on the screen while I am adjusting other parts. Some times I may tap out a certain part and use that track also to know where cue points are.
Richard, it is extremely gracious of you to share all your hard work with everyone. You are an excellent representative of what the holiday season is all about! I hope your display is a hit in 2008 at it's new location! Thanks much!!!

No Aunt Bethany, those are the Christmas lights.

The stakes have a small hole in them every 1". These are the ones from Home Depot. What I did was use a machine screw that goes through the LOR enclosure from the inside and then through the small hole in the stake.
MY LOR PC arrived , I assembled the wires and everything in the instructions and it works like a charm. It is awesome. Now that I am totally impressed with the system, I have done a schematic of my Property, I have inventoried my lights, done a plan of what I have and want to do, Now that I got figured out, I have realized I am short on LOR Channels, I even think 32 channels isnt enough,
hahahaha
I think I will be needing at least 2 more Units:-P
LIGHT-O-RAMA, I will be ordering probly in the summer sale
, I am sure I will have no less then 48 channels come Nov 1st
