(Preface- I have no affiliation of any kind with this company)

Just wanted to share a way to get a relatively inexpensive, yet nice-looking Flash website template that's very easy to install, configure and maintain. I used this software and their templates to develop a website for the company I used to work for.

The company is A4desk. (http://www.a4desk.com)

In addition to being nice looking, Flash is cross-platform and browser independent. 98% of Web users can view high-impact, low-bandwidth Flash content without having to download and install a player.

Most popular search engines including Google already support indexing of Flash web pages. A4Desk also comes with a built-in form for you to easily define page title and add meta tags, so to optimize your web page for search engine indexing.

You install the small, free/trial, configuration program, then choose from a wide variety of 181 customizable templates on their site. You can actually customize any of the templates in demo mode, so you can see what your finished product will look like before you purchase it.  Everything (photos, text, colors) except the actual elements and layout of the template  are customizable.

A basic non-exclusive template (meaning others can purchase the same template) costs $49.95, but because you'll undoubtedly change many things about the template, (most are business related, but there are a few Christmas ones) you'll probably never find another site exactly matching yours.
