Ok be kind. Igot alot of work to do. But my goal was to get it launched and that's what I did.  Hosted on

      http://www.000webhost.com/

seems pretty good.

I've changed the format on the home page. I think I like it better than the other pages. Let me know what you think, and be kind. Never have done this before.

Thanks

I like the overall feel of the site, but the snowflakes are a bit distracting

also don't forget to change the <title> line in the header to reflect the site name

I would change "That's a lot to get done from now and Christmas" to "between now and Christmas" or "from now until christmas". Just a little better sentence structure. Otherwise a good start. I agree, the snowflakes are kind of distracting.

"Check THEIR website out." (Not "THERE".)

"BROADCAST", not "BROADCASTED".

"ONCOMING" not "ON COMING".

I think this might be in the coding, but, the 2nd video box covers up all the writing down there about the other website. I use Firefox.

Overall you are off to a very good start!

Your use of Christmas colors help set the mood, the site looks interesting, you have content and ease of navigation is great.

The home page would be even easier to navigate if it all fit in one screen without scrolling.  Subsequent pages can scroll as needed.  And please add a contact links so people can contact you with questions, etc.

A location map would be nice.

Animal,

Overall a good start.  Anothe rthing I noticed are the countdowns do not jive.  One says there are 295 days til Christmas and the other 272.  I would imagine that you copied the image for the one countdown instead of the coding which is why it is showing 295.  Good start though.

Jeff

Thanks everyone. I know I still have alot of work to do and it was rushed to get it launched.  I know I'm haveing a problem with people useing firefox. I'll be working on that. I was on the fence about the animated snowflakes. I'm going to change that. I'll also adjust the size when I finish with the final format. I have alot of work to do. I wanted to make it fun. Again thank you for your coments. I need feedback. Watch for the updates

Hey Jeff,

One is a countdown until Christmas and the other is a countdown until he turns on the lights on Dec 1st, that's why they are different.

I was contemplating just to have the lights on count down only. What do you think?

Thanks, didn't notice that.  I think only one of them should be used to avoid confusion.  I would do a day's till light's on, personally.

Overall a great site. I love the colours and the theme. Apart from the points above, I have 3 improvement ideas.

Rather than explain them I have attached a screen shot with the points highlighted.

I was on the fence about the snowflakes. I agree. I'm working on the codeing so it will be more compatable. I need this kind of feedback. Never really did this before. I'll spend time this weekend on it trying to clean it up. Thank you.
