Hey Everyone.
Just got done making some decisions reguarding my webhost / website if anyone knows the troubles I had with the last one. Well I moved to 1and1 Hosting and the new site is located here

Landru Family Christmas

I am not completly finished with the design but I am looking for feedback as I go.

Feel free to suggest/compliment/criticize as feedback is the ultimate tool for improvement.

Thanks,
Landru Family Christmas

I like the general look/feel.  The big snowflakes are pretty, but I found them distracting, especially when they covered up text I was trying to read.  Maybe they could fall one or two times and then stop?

Nice work, though!

I have to agree with Tim regarding the snowflakes.  They're not transparent to text, etc, and so they prevent me from reading.  If there was lots of text to read, the multi snowflakes that occasionally fall would cause a problem.

Overall, however, I love the look and feel of the site.  It's great!

Ok, thanks Tim and mmaness for the feedback on the snow I now have it to a random 1 - 4 flakes on the screen at any point in time and have chosen to use smaller flakes. Hopefully this helps.. if not I may just put the top portion in its own frame and put the snow if there.

Let me know if this is better!

Donald, I just went to see it again and I am getting some weird error.  "Infinite Menus must be purchase for internet use."  Not sure what it means.

Isn't debugging stuff fun?   I do that all day, every day.  It's a never ending process to any type of programming.

Well I did fix the issue of the menu (not willing to pay $139 to use it) I am using a different one now that is free for non commercial use.. in IE please ignore the little pink box that says trial version I am awaiting on them to send me a noncom key but they have to manually review the website.  Once the key comes the menu will change again since all features will be unlocked...

and yes debugging is so much fun..

The site looks very pleasing.  I think you could add a couple more of the snow flakes and still keep it under annoying.

Hey, are you the Landru over by Hagemeister?
