Just wanted to send out a big thanks to Bill and Nancy Foley for a great mini Plus...I had a great time and it was Nice to meet everyone and hope to do it again next year.......
Yes, thank you so much for Bill and Nancy Foley for hosting the Mini-Plus at their place, Kevin for doing a great job keeping everything organized, all the speakers who taught us so much today! My husband and I couldnt stop talking about all the new things we learned.
It was so great to be able to put faces to all the PNW names on here. It was a pleasure to meet every one of you!

The Washington State Mini-Plus was great with attendees coming from all over the Northwest.
Many thanks to Bill & Nancy Foley for graciously hosting the event. Kudos to Kevin for organizing a host of great speakers and being our MC and to Gary for his helping hands.
A lot of great topics were covered including mini-trees, mega-trees, wire frames, wire frame animation, rope light, pneumatic control, DMX control, including video in your display, LEDs, DC Control, leaping arches, mesh mini-light letters, and electrical power.
Many door prizes were won including gift cards, inflatables, mini-lights, and rope lights. I even won a Northwest Mini-Plus hat! The grand door prize was a fully assembled LOR 1602W! Nobody walked away empty handed as everyone received a Mini-Plus work apron that's perfect for holding all of the zip ties and tools. The Red apron was embroidered with the PC Santa.
I was especially pleased to meet many new enthusiasts for the first time and seeing those friends that I haven't seen since the last Mini-Plus. You really can't beat a crowd of people who gather to talk about Christmas!
I had seen the dancing pig before but I hadn't seen the donkey who's head was raised and lowered by pneumatic controls via LOR. Bill, that was very clever how you accomplished that. JR brought a section of his mega-tree which was impressive to see how nice it looks. The talking reindeer wireframe was nicely done. Thanks to all for sharing!
Oh my, the berry pie. It was brought all the way from Oregon. It was a special treat indeed.
What a great time!!! My first mini was maxi fun. The hosts were great, the speakers were great, the fellow attendees were great and the Berry Pie was top notch. Thanks to all who produced this informative event. (Including Bogart the Mini Mascot)
It was a pleasure to meet so many fellow lighting enthusiasts. It's reassuring to know there's other holiday nuts out there who "dream and scheme" throughout the year! I think I can speak for everyone in attendance when I say, regardless of skill or the extent of your display, a gathering like this is INSPIRING and MOTIVATING. I think what I enjoyed most was seeing the outcome of those who were "thinking outside the box" and created something out of nothing (letters out of mesh, or trees out pvc or tomato cages) rather than generic store bought items.
