I was just going to ask if it's OK to bring a camera or camcorder to capture some of the workshops.

Hey Darin, How'd you like to be the "Official" videographer?

Kevin,

Did you mistake me for somebody who has decent camera equipment:laughing:  Seriously, I would be happy to video the event as long is there is no expectation of quality.  All I have is a little mini DV recorder.  I also have a good still camera (Nikon D-70 SLR), but I think video is more suited to an event like this.

Not a problem Darin.

I can bring a tripod and a mini DV but I'll need help running it.

Sure, I'll help out.   My mini DV is fairly small and I can throw it in for backup.

I can't believe how addictive this hobby is getting.   Having support groups like this certainly doesn't curb that addiction.  Are there special awards for the milestones like 10K, 25K, 50, and 100K light displays?

Curb addition! You want us to help you slow down? Hello,  wrong crowd pal.  Heck Kevin is turning into one of the pusher men. Just look at his MR16 buys. He's at 3, and he has em clammering for more, more, more,. Where's my Bic lighter.

As I keep saying, it's a slippery slope indeed..........

The mini will be a great time. We have quite a few new faces to get to know.

Remember our Northwest Mini PLUS is just 3 months away

April 26th in Olympia, Wa

We will be sending out more information to all those attending.  Be sure to contact me at Bill@ChristmasNorthwest.com with how many are in your party so we can get an accurate count.  Nancy is once again "picking up the tab" for the lunch.  I spoke with Kevin a couple of days ago and he has quite a program planned. There is something for the beginner to DMX control for the more advanced.  I am working on clearing a couple of machines out of the shop so we can seat even more attendees.

Remember it's fun and it's free

Count me in! Now that a date is set, I'll mark it down in my calendar. I actually used the DMX control this year, so I'll be interested in what other people did with it. I'm also interested in learning more about the DC controllers.

I'm still a "game time decision"...we have a new little addition to the household so I don't know if I can get away for a day yet or not!!!  I missed last year and don't want to miss this year, but it may not be in the cards this year.

Not sure about making it to Ferrilli's, though it is litterally right up the road from me.  I am hoping to be at the event on Saturday though, atleast by 11am.
