The wife and I were a Walgreen's the other day and picked up this handsome fellow, I stapled a couple orange C7 behind it and wallah here you have it. Connected to the LOR should make a fine addition to the haunted Halloween display.

Handsome...well obviously beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
That guy gives me the creeps...orange light seems to give him an eerie glow...well nice ummm skull but if that were hung anywhere near my window...I would have to keep the shades down.
Hey glad to see you are up and doing some things...thought maybe the back was going to keep you from some decorating but looks like you are getting into the swing of things.
When I saw your photo I had to get one for my display. I went one step further, putting a wall between the eyes / nose and mouth. Now I can control the mouth separate from the upper part - makes a great "Vincent Price" in Thriller!

Mike
I really like that idea, unfortunately it is to late for this year, because Halloween is up and running, but for next year, I think I may just have to borrow/steal your idea, because thats what we do here, share, learn, borrow and steal, it is what we do best (hope you know I am kidding).

I went to the hardware store and they have replacement sockets for light fixtures with the C7 base and metal flanges. A little bending with the pliers, a couple wire nuts and hot melt glue and we have a lighted mask.
Here is a picture of the electrification of the mask. Note the divider cardboard between the upper and lower light sections. The top bulb is a 15 watt frosted tube light, the mouth area are 2 C7 red lights. I coated the entire inside with black paint. I also have a back cutout painted orange to seal up the light.
