Hey Everyone!  I am new to this forum and came across this non-Christmas sub-forum so I thought I would post my Halloween site.  It is really more of a warmup for Christmas to work out the bugs.  I am using Vixen like Brian with a NI-DIO card.  The site allows visitors to interact with the lights by clicking the items in the video itself or the names under the video.  I do have some sequences running finally, but I don't have any videos available just yet and my internet connection is too slow to allow real time sequence viewing.

Check it out at the link below and let me know what you think.  I am always looking for comments or suggestions for improvement.

thanks,

Joey

joeberg,

Welcome to Planet Christmas.

I like your pumpkins and the wreath.

What song are you using?

Strobes might add a spooky feel to your show.

If you could update your profile to include your city and state that would be helpful.  Just click on the link in my signature to find out how and why.

Thanks!

Michael B

Thanks for the welcome!

I added my city and state to my profile as requested.  I actually live in Lawrenceville, GA which is just NE of Atlanta.  Currently the only sequence I have programmed is "Monster Rap".  It works really well with the pumkins as they really come alive as if they are each singing.  The kids really love it!  I should have more sequenced soon.  I actually have a couple of strobes that I will see about putting out.  Thanks for the suggestion.

I will get some videos online soon and post back here letting everyone know they are up.

Joey

Thanks Robert!  I finally captured a few sequences with my laptop and put them up for display.  I will probably redo them tomorrow with a faster computer (the audio sync is a little off from the encoding), but I wanted to get something online for now.  There are more sequences coming.  I will post when they are up.

You can find them at :

My connection was choking with all the video downloads over my tiny dsl. Sorry for any inconvenience.  I have now put them on YouTube to make them easier to access.

If you tried to download them before and couldn't or gave up, you shouldn't have any problems now.  The YouTube links are on the page below:
