Alright guys, so I am the moderator for this section of the PC boards. Just trying to do a little house cleaning here. Basically, if your items have been sold or traded, let me know and I will delete the topic. If you want to repost it, you can by all means do that as well, just so new and fresh sets of eyes get to check out whatever your trying to sell/trade. So, if your product is gone and you want your post gone, just send me and pm or post here and I will take it down. Also, I will never delete a topic without you asking me. The only things I have deleted are double posts or double topics.
WOW, let me just say welcome mod have not seen a mod around here for a while. lol I think after things say sold, or where people can get what they are looking for then it would be ok to clean things up.

Any particular reason that the Mod has a seperate account to Moderate the forum? On all the fourms I have ever participated on I have never seen a Mod. having a different account for moderating the forum. With all the controversy that has been lurking around here in the past couple os years I get a the feeling someone is hiding behind this new account and screen name so no one with know exactly who the mod is. This is a bad route to take, IMO.
Edit: After some curious lurking it appears as though there are numerous secret mods. They are Moderator12-Moderator29. As a member of this board I would like to voice my dis-agreement with this policy. There is no reason for secret moderation.

I agree with that as well. No reason to worry about modding MOST of us are all friends around here. I know when each section had its mods I was a mod of the Inflatable section, and everything ran smoothly. No sure why chuck or the secret mods are worried about people being upset when they work the board the way it should be.

First off, let me say this. The decision to make seperate "secret" names for the moderators was a decision made by Chuck. The reason for him doing this was because a lot of times people don't agree with the decisions that moderators make. Because, as you said, everyone here are friends, this is a way to keep the "Positive, Family Friendly and Christmas centric" policy going. A moderator has been assigned to every single section of the boards. We have been around for a few months now and as you can tell, we aren't here to make enemies, we are here to keep things running smoothly and mainly to help Chuck out.
As I stated in my original post, I will not be deleting any posts unless someone tells they want their posts deleted. Several people have contacted me and I have deleted those posts, but thats all I have done. I have also deleted a lot of the double posts when the forums start to "act up."
I am here to get as much information as possible, and thats all I want to do. Not here to make enemies or disrupt anything.

You must have really hated it then, the first 6 months of the year when the moderator didn't even use a 'moderator' account!

I have an opinion answer for your question Brian. When they had accounts with "moderator" status here in the past. They were harrassed and treated badly for their misbehavior. Now they can hide safely behind annonymity, while still creating the same havoc they did in the past.
They're still very sensitive when their buttons are pushed though!
most of the things in this section are traded/sold fairly quickly
I would imagine this area could be pared down to the threads started with the last 3 months at the start of each month. Of course when spammers show up and are kicked off, thier threads should disappear with them
I've also noticed in the past threads started in this forum that REALLY should be moved to the heads up forum

i dont know i kindof agree with the above statements of no secret moderators, but then again its just my opinion, I myself have always seen moderators screennames listed with each other example.... http://www.LSOL.com, anyway, its not like we would be intimidated by the moderators. I know sure wouldnt be, as long as people are nice on here, they shouldnt be intimidated by each other. Like they said, all friends, I havent had a problem with anyone on here and Im pretty sure i wont, even with PM messages. People always say in my messages, sorry to bug you, but they are nto really bugging me, if they were I wouldnt want to be bothered there fore not be a member of the forums. Im here to try and help as much as I can thats all.

I think my post "Mini's on Clearance at Sears" in the Buy/Sell/Trade is one of the offending ones you guys are referring too. Apologies, I'll keep that kinds of stuff in the proper forum from now on.

Lets try to keep this section of the forums to post things that you want deleted. I don't make the policies of this board, that is done by Chuck. If you have a probably with how he runs his forums, please let him know. I am well aware that people don't really like the fact that their are moderators here, and thats fine. Of course you all have the right to voice your opinions, just please don't do it here. Let Chuck know. I have tried my very best to only delete things that people ask me to delete and I only close topics when they don't fit the category; "Buy/Sell/Trade/Announce." Other then that, I frankly could careless. I enjoy the forums for the information they give, so I don't do things out of anger or disgust for the topic. If you have something you would like deleted, please post the link here, or shoot me a PM. I would be more then happy to take it off for you.
I had a little snafu when posting today, and ended up doing it three times. Would you be so kind to delete ALL postings by Creator, EXCEPT for the most recent entry, that is the one with the picture attached. Thanks!!!
