If I wanted to sell my items for next to nothing I'd just save myself the trouble and leave them in my attic until next year. I thought offering these to folks who know the value in them would at least give me a fair price.
$50 for my 16 channel controller which alone cost over $100, on top of building the unit and testing it, and a very nice enclosure, which is Plug and Play, ready right out of the box...
give me a break.
thus far.... Ireseq has the highest bid at $208 for both...
I still need a bit more money for the pair before I'll sell them....

This is a good example of what to expect when you don't post a price and instead elect to hold a "blind auction" of sorts.
Auctions will ALWAYS bring lowball offers, especially when the bidders have no idea what has been bid and what your starting price expectations are.
SO you pretty much got the response that would be expected!
It would actually help if the Buy Sell forum had a set of "rules" as to how to conduct postings... (just to avoid problems)
I am on several forums, and the buy/sell areas almost always will define that there should be a posted price, no "feelers" (I might sell if someone offers enough, but I am not sure how much), and no commercial vendors (those should post in "heads up"), and no "price dumping" (posting that the price is too high) as a minimum set of "Guidlines".
This is just a suggestion, since these issues come up time and again no matter what forum or interest group is involved.
You do have to take into consideration most on this board are familier with LOR spring sale. Holding off until Late October or list on ebay would probably yield a better result.

I'm sorry, but 'Best Offer By Saturday' doesn't me "Best offer but if I don't get enough I won't sell them". If you know "what money you will need before you'll see them", then put that darn price in the buy/sell/trade post, otherwise, go put them on eBay....

You can get a great price for them in October/November when LOR is too busy to keep up with orders. Like iresq said, with the sale coming up you won't get great offers because we can get the units brand new for the same price (or a few bucks more.) You can get every dime out of your controllers if you wait until November.

Although I really wanted those extra 8 channels, it's probably a good thing he turned me down and I just get new at the sale.
Which is crazy... I think I paid $320 for BOTH of my 16 channel 30A PC cards last year, that is 32 channels and 60A total capacity, and that included cord set and enclosure and high power heatsink....
But, in the end, stuff is worth what someone is willing to pay.... even if that someone is an unknowing newbie....
