There are licensing requirements for bars and other venues for playing music (ASCAP and BMI).
If you are not collecting any money from your broadcast, you should be safe. I am sure that collecting charitable donations is ok. But if you make buck, you could get fined.
As a DJ, I am not required to have such a license but any bar I work in does. And they do enforce it.
I really liked it. It is the deluxe model that was modified to add output jack for transmitter. Easy to set up and never gave me a problem. OK, it gave me one big problem - animation bug. I will be going LOR this year.

1) Its in here (PC) somewere. I can't find it. I tried to cut and paste but it installs the picture. Send me a pm with your email address and I will send it that way.
2) It really doesn't matter. You are going to splice into the blue wire. I think they all have a blue wire. You should get one with a digital read out. That will give you more frequency options.
3) Just an old 12v power supply I had laying around.
