Linda and I will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Everything will be fine, they do great things nowadays (I have a computer in my chest) and soon it will just be a memory of something that was done that needed to be done.

Craig

I will pray for you.

Good news is most of these these days are done laproscopically which means only a few little cuts to heal.

The bad news is of course you'll be a little tender and sore for the first few days to a week.

Have someone around to help you get into/out of bed, get up off the couch etc?

These are just some of the lessons learned.

Good luck Michelle.  :)

Leon

Good Luck with the surgery.  My wife had a hysterectomy about a year ago because of cancer at age 36.  The surgery went smooth and she is cancer free.

I also understand your fear of surgery, I had a spinal fusion done last year and was scared out of my mind.  The surgery went fine and I am slowly recovering from it.

Just let your doctors know in pre-op that you are really nervous and they should give you something to calm you down.

The wife just got home late last night from the same thing. She was doing tests for the sur. in june but she had a syst pop that the doctor didn't know about. I'm glad to say she is doing a lot better now. I'm glad to have a computer again I only had a ipod for the internet and email. I can't wait for Steve Jobs to invent an ipod with a 22 inch screen. Well as the doctor said all you can do now is rest, so rest and we will say a special prayer for you. One thing I would do is turn my phone off! My wife is a youth pastor and 100's of kids were calling to see what was up. Don't try to talk to everyone just rest!
