............when you are on the utility pole in front of your house hamging (4) 5ft. snow flakes & wiring them up to a 4 way box and you hear the police car with wide open throttle 3 blocks away & he stops to see what the BIG BRIGHT FLASHING LIGHTS are ,shakes his head & opens the throttle again.
When one the alderman in my city who is a commercial pilot by trade tells you that when he see my house from the air he knows he is on the right flight pattern for the landing strip at the airport.
You know this Christmas light thing has gone too far when... It's September and you worried you don't have time to finish the planned projects for your christmas display

September....I started to worry the first week in july
Shoot - I made 20 Mini Trees in August - fixin to do some welding this weekend on a mount for some angels and Building my nativity scene barn the following week.
When an 18 wheeler fully load with blow molds is due at your house any day
....and you are trying to think of a way to break the news to your wife
.....that the sunroom you built this past summer has a specific use for the winter
.....when you run a trench in your front yard for 3 new 20a circuits & the electrical inspector asks if they are for outside lights....no....more Christmas decorations
.....when your total decorations amps exceeds your Mains capacity by over 30 amps
....and the service is a 200a feed
......when (8) outisde 20a circuits aren't enough
...when future plans include a dedicated 150a sub-panel just for Christmas
...when 3 hard wired timers that can control 120a is not enough...and you buy a 4th
...when you think about putting that empty warehouse behind you to use

You can finally see your house from space on Google Earth.
Did you notice that in deck the halls, they were using Google Earth to look at their house from space?
I'm so busy between work, my Halloween & Christmas show projects that I kind of loose touch with the real world.
Heh, I found it at Amazon. I'll see if I can rent it.
Thanks!
