Thank you Mira, it is a great prayer. I have copied it and will send it off to my friends so they know the real reason I do this for.

I pray you dont get any damage done to your display! I am sorry to hear someone had to come steal your meat. I was just telling a friend yesterday that it is coming to the times that people are going to start stealing just to feed there kids. The sad thing is it will be people that dont qualify for any assistance and just cant find the means to buy it. With the prices of gas and food and everything going up daily what are people going to start doing just to survive? I am not looking forward to what the near future is bringing.

Thanks again everyone for your encouarging posts.  I just realized I never posted that everything was fine with our display.  No damage and LOTS of positive comments from our neighbors and friends.  We are on a Metro Bus route and a couple of the drivers would stop in front of the house to let their riders enjoy the display. Our faith is fore front of our display it was SO cool to look out our window and see as many as 30 people seeing our MERRY CHRISTMAS light the words

                 CHRIST....IS....CHRISTMAS.

It was a boost to both mine and my husband's Cmoore (Chuck) spiritual walk.  Due to some extreme hurt we have been for lack of a better term we have been un-churched for over a year now.  We haven't lost our faith just our fellowship in a church.  You encouraging words and the love and support shown to one another on PC have been a BIG help too.  It is so nice to be part of a group that for the most part doesn't judge each other and welcomes everyone from every walk of life.

Mira

Mira,

I understand when a church causes people to have a bad taste for going to church.  Our church lost about half our members and went through some ugly stuff.  It was tearing me up.

It has been over a year now and things are looking bright again.  I'm still there and helping where I can.

Why don't you and your hubby try several churches and find one that works for you both.  I have found that if I am around the right church group they help to strengthen me and my family.  The support is incredible.  We went through a tough time in March with my teenager.  My church pulled us through it.  We are doing much better now.

I will pray that you can find that kind of church.

Thank you again for your wonder prayer.  As you know, this is my favorite thread in all of PC. :]
