This display of yours helps prove my point that I made on another thread. Here you have balance.....you have the flashing lights but with a twist....you have the "Jesus is the reason for the season" flashing too, but not all at once. You have the words come on at differnt times, therefore the lookers can't help but read the words.
Can you imagine doing it this way to a bible verse or to a song that relys a message. Take the song by go-fish (I think they are called) and their song Christmas with a Capital C, the way you did it here would work good if you were to use thier song and the word Christmas. The song and the animated words would really get the message across.
When my controllers get here that song is one of the songs that I had pre-programmed unto a SD card, along with the word version of the Carol Of The Bells etc. I planned to do with these songs what you did with "Jesus is the reason for the season". I want people to see that I am still welling to say Merry Christmas". Boy there was a lack of that this past December. I want to put up in flashing lights the phrase "Wise Men Still Seek Him"
The funny thing is that someone always beats you to the bunch. Oh well I well be the 1st in my area to have a ferris wheel, 36 channel controllers by Animated lighting, a FM transmitter, the 1st to use music from a Canadian music group who I gave me direct permission to use thier songs in a Christmas light show. I plan on contacting others via e-mail and get direct permission from them. I hope to have an all Canadian Christmas SD card to run my 1st ever light show. I plan to use CDs that I have in my music library but if I can get direct permission from music groups and copy the e-mail and put them away in a file, then if ever a problem comes up where someone say why is my song in a light show then I can whip out the file and show them the e-mail they sent. The 8 I am getting from Animated Lighting are all legal of course, and so are the ones you can get from LOR or WOWlights.
I just want to go out of the circle and reach groups that are not yet that popular. Then they well get there songs via Christmas shows and well I can have something different and prove that I did it all legal.
Anyhow Scott you beat me to it and I think what you did is was great....and I Scott want to follow that route that you took. Great job Scott.
Yours truly Scott of Alberta

Glad that you enjoyed our lights. Praising God does not have to be boring, and my goal was to prove that. Sorry that the video quality from the right side was so bad. Good luck with your show, make sure an post a video when you get it up and running. In Christ,
I thought more people would have commented on what you did.
What you did is a fairly new concept and I was thinking that you can add Scot Meyers idea to this fairly new concept you did and wholla your going out of the norm and wow reaching souls with sight and sound.
There are alot of fine folks on forum, alot of fine folks and it is as though I know them all personally. yet I don't, but that is the beauty of being a Christain, thanks to Christ and his free gift to us, are hearts are now united through kindred spirits.
None of these people know just how much help they have been to me and I said the above statement because people like Scot Meyer, yourself, and many others have been an encouragement to me threw their ministery of having great Christain Faith Displays. I started of that way but over the years I have gotten side tract....may the Lord help me this year to get back on tract and update that nativity scene and tell other more clearly of "The Greastest Birth In History" and the "Wonderful story of infinit Grace."
You friend: Scott
