I've had Dasher for a while and haven't been able to put up lights for the last few years. This year I get to have fun again. However It seams Christmas cave is no longer around. Does anyone still use Dasher software to controll i/o boards. Looking to upgrade. Any advice on what to go with. Animated lighting, d-light or LOR.

LOR supports the Dasher protocol.
LOR software + Dasher chips and hardware = Works great (no dimming).
THe Dasher hardware is still availble and is great for interfacing to low voltage (5 volts) projects.

I still have a copy of the dasher software.
I use my dasher boards with LOR.
I have been doing it for years. Give me a holler and we will see what we can do to help you out.

Where can the dasher hardware be found currently?

Hi Vic
when Dasher sold out to the new company. Dan from LOR made some ships for me, for my Dasher boards.
Give him a holler.

If Dan does not have any of the Dasher chips, try Dave at http://www.chaselights.com .
He also has some of the PC boards you can use to assemble the chips on to make complete assemblies, including the power trac's and fuses.
